Dr Katie Rhodes (f)

BM BS BMedSci DGM DRCOG DFSRH FRCGP AFHEA

Dr Rhodes sees patients on  Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Qualified from Nottingham University Medical School in 1986. She joined the practice in 2002. She is currently the Senior Partner, CQC registered manager and Clinical Governance lead for the practice. 

Her clinical interests include family planning and advance care planning. She is able to fit coils (IUCD).

Dr Sarah Thomas (f)

BM BS Bmedsci MRCGP

Dr Thomas sees patients  on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Qualified from Nottingham University Medical School in 2009. Her clinical interests include advance care planning and asthma.
She is the site lead for safeguarding adults and children.

Dr Victoria Robinson (f)

MBBS MRCGP DRCOG DFSRH

Dr Robinson sees patients on Wednesdays and Thursdays. 
Qualified from Newcastle University Medical School in 2011. She then returned to the East Midlands to complete her GP training and joined the practice in 2019. Her clinical interests include children’s allergies.

She also does joint injections and fits contraceptive coils and implants. She is practice lead for contraception and sexual health.

Dr Rhodri Walters (m)

MBBCh MSc MRCGP MMAA

Dr Walters sees patients on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Qualified from Cardiff University Medical School in 2012. He joined the practice in 2022. His clinical interests include all areas of general practice.  He is the practice lead for palliative and advance care support.

Dr Kunaal Shah (m)

MB ChB DipSEM MRCGP

Dr Shah sees patients on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. 
Qualified from the University of Manchester in 2016. He joined the practice in 2023 as a partner.

His clinical interests include all areas of general practice but has a specialist interest in Sports and Exercise/ Musculoskeletal Medicine.

Qualified from University of Nottingham Medical School in 2015.  Interested in all areas of general practice.

Dr Thomas Stewart (m)

MBChB, BSc (hons), MRCGP, PGCME, FHEA

Dr Stewart works Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays
Qualified from the University of Leeds in 2015, jointing the practice in 2023. 
He has a keen interesting medical education, working as a clinical skills teaching fellow at the University of Nottingham.

He is interested in all areas of medicine

Our Nursing Team

The Practice Nurses offer a wide range of services including health advice, respiratory and diabetic checks, blood pressure and coronary heart disease monitoring, family planning and cervical smears, childhood immunisations as well as other nursing tasks such as dressings.

Appointments to see them can be made at reception. We need to know the reason for the appointment so we can give them the appropriate length of time they need.

Ellie Angelova-Cooper is our Research Nurse. Along with our other core research team members she is responsible for the smooth running of our clinical research activities at the practice.

Our Clinical Pharmacist Team

Sulvinder Samra (f)

Clinical Pharmacist

Sulvinder is our full time clinical pharmacist employed by the practice. Her role is to help manage long term conditions, reviewing medicines and helping understand medication when discharged from hospital.

She can help with any questions about medicines either face to face or over the phone. Book an appointment with her by calling reception.

Zhi Law (f)

Clinical Pharmacist

Zhi is Clinical Pharmacist for the Nottingham West PCN. She joined the Nottingham West PCN in 2023 providing cover to Chilwell Meadows and Valley Surgery.

She manages patients with long term conditions particularly polypharmacy reviews, patients on 10+ medicines.

She supports the practice in reviewing medicines, dealing with medication queries, discharges and specialist services.  She also looks after our care home patients and is part of the Enhanced Health in Care Homes service for the PCN.

Vevila Wen Hong (f)

Clinical Pharmacist

Vevila is Clinical Pharmacist for the Nottingham West PCN. She joined the Nottingham West PCN in 2024 providing cover to Chilwell Meadows and Valley Surgery.

Healthcare Assistant

Debbie is trained to carry out dressings and well being health checks, take blood pressures, give flu vaccinations and take blood for blood tests.

Sean Massey (m)

First Contact Physiotherapist

Sean is our experienced physiotherapist with the advanced skills necessary to assess, diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment or referral for musculoskeletal (MSK) problems on a patient’s first contact with healthcare services. Please book an appointment with him by calling Reception.
He sees patients on Wednesdays.

Linda Allum (f)

Practice Manager

Linda is responsible for the administration of the practice and is happy to discuss queries, comments and suggestions regarding the day-to-day running of the practice

Ed Longridge (m)

Quality Development and Information Systems Manager

Ed helps us manage improvements in our communication systems and information technology, including maintaining the practice website and co-ordinating the practice’s research activities.

Nazia Rehman (f)

Deputy Practice Manager

Nazia helps us manage the practice deputising for Linda and Ed.

Receptionists

Steph is our Office Manager and she is helped by Chloe, Suzanne, Claire, Michaela, Debbie, Jasmine, Asha, Kelly, Allison and Nomiesha. They will deal with your queries and appointment requests. They may ask you a few details in order to work out how best to help you but they are bound by the same levels of confidentiality as the doctors.

Secretaries

The Practice secretaries Mel, Sonia and Rachel will liaise with hospitals for us. One of them is here every day. If you have issues with your liaison with hospitals please speak to  them directly.

Our Attached Team

Phlebotomists

Our phlebotomists are with us every Tuesday and Wednesday. They are especially trained to do blood tests. Appointments to see them can be made at reception.

Community Nurses

Our team of experienced community nurses is based at Stapleford Care Centre. They offer a wide variety of services to the housebound and those recently discharged from hospital. This includes care of the young people with disabilities, wound care, injections and advanced and palliative care. They can be contacted by telephoning 03000830100 Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm. At bank holidays, weekends, evenings and nights, call 0115 846 2377.

Healthy Family team (0-19 years)

The Healthy Family team role is to support children and young people with physical and mental health needs. For basic advice please call 0300 123 3387 Option 4, or the team can be contacted directly  for advice or for a home visit by leaving a message at Dovecote House where they are based on 0115 9522412.

Community Midwife

The Community Midwife team is involved in the care of all mothers before and after the birth of their child. You can self refer to them. They are available for any queries or concerns on 0115 8542264. For the emergency midwife call 07967204126 (9am-5pm) or outside of these times on 0115 9299971.
